Why should I choose this tour?

Mycenae and Epidaurus are two of the most famous archaeological sites in Greece. People from all over the world traveled to this place to heal, as early as the 17th century. There are incredible ruins and landscapes to see there, topped by the spectacular ancient theater of Epidaurus. Nafplio is also a beautiful seaside town, with great modern history and medieval castles such as the Venetian “Bourtzi”. However, this excursion is not only History and myths of interest. The magnificent landscapes, the combination of mountains and sea and the scents of orange and lemon trees will be something you will never forget.

What are we going to do:

A day trip full of ancient history and landscapes. We will drive from Athens to the Peloponnese and visit the archaeological site of Mycenae, the mythical city of Agamemnon. There are so many myths and stories out there, most notably the “Homer’s Iliad”. Afterwards we will travel to Ancient Epidaurus, the place where Medicine and Asclepius were born. Finally we will visit the historic city of Nafplio, the capital of Greece, before Athens.
